  1. No garage door opener on 2025 Maverick ?

Ditto: fortunately it's an easy DIY and the first mod I did on my 2024 XLT.
  2. Underhood jump points don't work ...

I had to jump the 12v battery last week and couldn't do it via the power points under the hood, so I went to the battery posts and got the truck started, and it got me thinking: do my power points actually function? My battery tender showed no connection but it needs a minimum amount of charge...
  3. 12 volt battery voltage difference

I saw that charging limit can be changed in Forscan but I'd be worried about overcharging and a potential "catastrophic battery failure" if the limit is set too high...
  4. Dead (really dead) 12V Battery

My 2024 XLT Hybrid wouldn't start today...first time since driving it home from the dealer in January. Had to manually unlock the driver's side door, and flip the rear door open to access the 12v battery. The NOCO jump pack arrives tomorrow but I have a Battery Tender Plus connected directly to...
  5. Dudd

I have yet to use a touchless wash that doesn't require me re-washing the parts that remain visibly dirty. They do fine on the large areas...
  6. Dudd

Yes! Very disappointed that nobody can make LEDs for the taillights that work as well as the OEM lamps.
  7. Android Auto no longer auto syncs to my truck. Anyone else having this issue within the past week or so?

Replaced the wireless dongle and still fails to connect. Plugging the phone directly into the truck does not launch Android Auto. Only going into the phone settings on the infotainment screen and then disconnect/reconnect the phone works to launch it. I'm starting to think that an upgrade push...
  8. Android Auto no longer auto syncs to my truck. Anyone else having this issue within the past week or so?

Not sure what happened, but my Motorola phone no longer automatically launches Android Auto when I get into the truck. I looked through settings in the phone and the app and the infotainment settings and I don't see anything amiss, but I have to disconnect and reconnect the phone to get Android...
  9. Fit a FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE under the Maverick to replace the pathetic factory bicycle wheel spare!

It's a spare. If it fits on the axle and has some tread and holds air, it's doing a good job...better than the tire that it temporarily replaced.
  10. How the Maverick Ranks in Recalls (vs. Other Vehicles)

Interesting that the least-recalled cars are all the higher-end makes. I guess you DO get what you pay for.
  11. Garage opener Homelink buttons for sun visor?

It may not be available any longer: search on the forums for an alternative mirror (I recall seeing someone who installed a different mirror with the HomeLink).
  12. Fit a FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE under the Maverick to replace the pathetic factory bicycle wheel spare!

I've never seen so much rage for a spare tire...it's a bit worrying, though I admire the colorful descriptions of the original spare: very creative. Mine came with a full size spare but I did get a 4-way that will allow me enough torque to break the lug nuts loose...I don't expect to use it much.
  13. The Anti-Stubby antenna: pics and review

Can't say; I've never even tried AM on mine.
  14. 20k miles.. 1 1/2 years and multiple seasons

I got my '24 XLT hybrid about the same time as you. Just crossed the 12k mark and still love it as much as the day we drove it home. Averaging 44 mpg with a Leer mid - rise cap on...really loving that! Yes, I would prefer a longer bed than 4.5' but I wouldn't trade it for anything...and it was...
  15. 2025 Maverick orders - what color did you select?

Agree...but I admit to some bias in favor of the White and Black combo...😏
  16. Finished PTM'ing..

I have those mudflaps and I know you'll like 'em. I'm liking the side view mirrors on yours...DIY or aftermarket? They'd look good on Steve Trucklet...
  17. This might be sacrilege, but... change out 2022-2024 orange trim items out for the 2025 blue?

Yes Yes, it's a bit quieter when the gas engine kicks in...but not whisper-quiet. Worth the cost, though, to me.
  18. This might be sacrilege, but... change out 2022-2024 orange trim items out for the 2025 blue?

It's a free country and I'm thankful that there's nothing orange on 'Steve Trucklet'. It's just never appealed to me and I made sure that it wouldn't appear anywhere on my truck. He just got a sound-insulating underhood mat and a hitch assembly cover (courtesy of #Maxzina and #Mabett...
