People have been using fuse taps, Iāve seen people use different fuse spots for it. Me personally, the lc2i pro has signal sense and a remote out, so Iām just using the remote out on the LC2i
It will, itās just fussy as sh*tā¦. Took some serious fishing the first time (and is what drove me to adding a power actuator from a ranger along with the wiring harness for around $125)
Side note: Iāve got the DIY harness from them Iām not gonna be using, if somebody wants thatā¦
Iāve got a bit of stuff I likely wonāt be using, I need to go through and make a list, see if anybody can use it and Iāll flip it all for cheap (including an unused fosgate R2D4 10ā)
Iāll try to work on something because I may take the driver side panel back off again⦠Iāve taken the tan panels off at least 3 times and havenāt broken one yet *knock on wood*.
Not sure why Amazon links do thatā¦. Theyāre PAC ones, but the crutchfield ones will definitely do the trick

Then Iāll say the answer is if you want to absolutely protect your speakers back there, 600hz bass blockers/caps on them will do that, and theyāre cheap enough.
I have THESE but didnāt end up using them on my 4x6sā¦. You just connect one in line on the positive lead.
Itās essentially a bass blockerā¦. Resistors in line and then a cap on the actual speaker to cut off frequencies below what I assume to be somewhere in the 600-800hz range
I just now got my pry tools out to try it and yeah theyāre a tad tricky, but seems similar to the frontā¦. I came from the bottom of the inside and wedged it in and pushed up hard. Looks like I know what Iām doing this weekend š
correct, theyāre the same plugs (this one will actually clip in where the 5600/5601 wonāt)
(these were made by someone on the bronco forums, as they were having the same thing where some people could get the 5600 to work and some said it wouldnāt fit (which comes back to where I didnāt think...
the phenomenon that you cite is exactly what led me into the path Iāve been on in regards to the audio system. I listen to an extremely wide range of music and certain parts of certain mixes were non-existent. It drove me crazyā¦. coming from a 2016 Toyota Highlander and 2016 Camry SE, the stock...
Oh Iām not an āexpertā by any means, but thanks Joe I appreciate that and glad i was able to help.
They should fit without issue, youāll just want to snap two of those ears off of them as thereās only two mounting holes, youāll also want speaker foam or even weather stripping to make a seal with...
In that harness from plug and play kits the key is already wired in off high levels (including power and ground to the ACM leads for those)ā¦. then splits off the signal for lc2i
A. Whyās it on the lawn?
B. I didnāt say I didnāt understand him being upset, I get it, but if itās my only vehicle Iām going to dmv and handling it asap or Iām going about my life and making sure I take documentation with me to explain the situation IF I get pulled over.
I get being livid over...
donāt you think your thread title is a tad dramatic? Itās not a lawn ornament, and good lord itās just tags. Others at least have actual reasons to be livid and have had an actual 30k lawn ornament.
Letās just say itās become a hobby ššš
on a serious note tho, it was that whole effect where I started with a budget build, then some unexpected disposable income came my way and the ātasteā I got from my budget build made me want more and itās just been experimentation to find that exact sound...
