I see. I drive pretty conservatively and do a lot of coasting and using cruise control. Sounds like it would be worth while to wait for a hybrid to become available. I dont NEED to AWD or 4k towing. Reading some of the threads it seemed like ecoboost owners were getting good mpg as well.

until there is some kind of break through in battery tech I dont see full electric as a great option. look at how much juice those tesla supercharge stations pull to charge in 30 minutes to get the battery to a 70%ish charge. its equivalent or more power you use to power your house in a day...
Can 5W20 snyblend be used for this motor? I know it calls for 0W20 full syn, but I cannot find Motorcraft 0W20 around here. Is Ford's 0W20 new which is why no one is carrying it yet?

I'm not finding an answer to this question and maybe I'm over thinking it or not fully understanding how a hybrid works. I've never had one. If the electric motor is being used part of the time does that mean the motor and the oil isn't getting up to full operation temp like a normal vehicle...
