I got the same answer for my October 21 ordered Lariat Hybrid that had VIN issued Sept 22. I guess Jan 9, 23 is when they get the shipment of hybrid transmission that is holding up production.
Can anyone who has been issued a MY23 VIN publish a partial example? I had a MY22 VIN that has been cancelled by Ford to be rolled over to a MY23 VIN with build priority code of 2. I chatted Ford customer support and they tell me I now have a build date of Jan 9 but can't give me the new VIN...
I don't think dealer allocations have any bearing on my order now. It already had a MY22 VIN and scheduled production date = dealer has the allocation. All involuntary rollovers are SUPPOSED to to assigned a Priority Code 2 for production.
The way I see it is that NO MY23 Lariat orders should...
I've been sitting on a no option Lariat Hybrid order since October 29, 2001. A VIN was issued in September but now the build date has been pushed back to Dec 19 so it is in limbo hell.
If I hear that any MY23 ordered Hybrids are issued VINs or scheduled before my no option (read no constraints...
After following Tim and seeing the Ford rollover memo I chatted up CS to see if I had a new VIN to track. They still have my MY22 order and VIN active with a build date in December.
Is Customer Service just clueless or is Ford slow in converting orders to a MY23 VIN.
Anyone gotten their VIN...
I have no towing plans but ordered a hitch on my (not yet built) Maverick so I can leave a big trailer ball on there. That is one way to deter tailgaters and creepers from hitting me.
Is that Sheehy Ford in Springfield Va? I ordered my Maverick 9/21/21 and haven't heard a word from my salesman. I get all my info from this Forum and direct from Ford (Have VIN and production pushed to Nov 5 so MY23 rollover)
Last night Ford Guy was saying if your production date was pushed back to the Dec 5 week then it will get rolled over. This memo says week of Dec 12. There is still hope for me to get my Velocity Blue Lariat
Not holding my breath BUT there is still hope my MY22 Lariat can be built in Velocity blue. My build date was ONLY pushed back to Dec 5 and this memo states week of Dec 12 production will be rolled over to MY23.
Here's a question for Ford;
I have an assigned "A" VIN that was pushed back to December (3FTTW8E38NRA9657X) which, according to Ford Guy, is getting rolled over to MY23. Won't this leave gig gaps in the VIN sequence when higher VIN non-constraint MY22's are built through November?
THE PRODUCTION DATE FOR YOUR VEHICLE HAS CHANGED.
Dear David F,
We have made an adjustment to the production date for your 2022 Maverick LARIAT.
Your vehicle is now scheduled to be built the week of December 5, 2022. We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle's production...
Just got this happy email from Ford;

My VIN assigned production date has moved back and up 5 times but has now settled on 11/14. Until Ford pushes out a window sticker I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
I not really pleased with my MY22 production date pushed back for the fifth time (now Nov 14), but I wish Ford, for once, would just tell me the F-ing truth about when or if my VIN assigned Maverick will be built.
I have seen a total of three driving around Fairfax Co. in the past year. Sheehy Ford Springfield (where I am still waiting for mine on order since Oct 20, 2021) has none on the lot.
It is my belief that the great number of 11/14 build dates (mine included) is because Ford has no idea whatsoever when these trucks will be built, so they are assigned the very last week before the MY23 rollover.
This happened to me on my kids Escape. They weren't very big on maintenance and when I offered to do a brake job I found half the lug nuts swollen. They looked chrome plated but actually raw steel with a shiny metal covering that corrodes underneath. If you discover this trying to change a flat...
