I'm with you, GmanGM. I used the fold-flat rear seats and the pass-through to the bed all the time in my 2006 Baja. It was super simple, gave me a lot of options for how I used the spaces and never leaked. If my Baja had all the up-to-date safety features and was a hybrid, I'd still be...
I may have missed this earlier. Is there a free battery test offer from Ford for any Maverick that is having a problem with continually going into deep sleep or were only certain owners contacted about said offer? Thanks!
I've used it for a few things: a handheld blower to inflate rafts, charge batteries for power tools, a laptop, etc. The only thing that failed was a 12-cup coffee maker on a car camping trip. Had to resort to cowboy coffee.
I have the Truxedo Sentry CT Hard Rollup Tonneau Cover and this Bed Extender I bought on Amazon. They work together just fine. The bed extender used the factory holes to mount it. As far as I can tell, the tonneau cover is identical to the Ford branded one.
Unfortunately, the answer is "no" to all your questions. You have to resort to a crossbar that has towers that clamp onto the roof like these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BDMLSC23/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use Alpha-trax on my 23 XL Hybrid. They work great. They are relatively flat and provide the proper clearance. https://lacledechain.com/alpha-trax/ https://tirechain.com/225-65r17-alpha-trax-snow-tire-chains-embedded-with-alloy-steel-studs/
Or you can get chains that don't mar your wheels or tires. I've been using AlphaTrax on my Maverick. When installed, there is no metal to metal or metal to rubber contact. I've been very happy with the performance.

I'm using the Toros roof rack:

It works great and has a nice solid fit to the top of the cab. Their customer service is really good. I had a couple questions prior to making my purchase and they sent...
All four of my tires on my 2023 XL Hybrid have a crease in them. I don't know how long they have been there. I first noticed the creases when the sunlight highlighted them a while ago.
The tires are the stock Continental ProContact TX with under 6k miles on them.
I always keep my tires...
I guess I spoke too soon. In April, we had a storm with enough snow to require chain control. The Alpha Trax worked great. Plenty of clearance, ran smoothly and provided the traction I needed. The only downside is the rubber adjusters can take a bit of muscle to get on.
Unfortunately, I tried Home Depot, ACE and all my local locksmiths and none could cut my two spare keys. I did find an out of town locksmith that said they could cut it. I took it to them today to cut one of the keys. The cutting worked, but the programming did not. The key opens the doors...
I purchased these last year and have been happy with them:

If you contact them directly, you can have them customize the length of the crossbars, but it may take a while longer to get them.
Like may...
