That link is for sync 3 and above, not for the sync lite. When I enter my vin, it tells me that sync updates are not available on this vehicle. What @rclee said is correct, it will not work on XL or XLT Mavericks.
It can't be XL and FX4. It would have to be XLT or Lariat to be FX4.
As of now, not enough Mavericks have reached 200K miles to make any kind of good reliability comparisons. Maybe in about 3 to 4 years we may get a fair comparison, but who wants to wait that long. Personally, if it were me, I...
The answer; because he wants to. We all do things to our trucks that WE like and may not be for everybody. If making a negative comment on a post, at least explain your position. I respect all opinions. I may not agree with them all, but my choice is either say nothing (my favorite) or explain...

Or just search Amazon for led neon light strip white...
Exactly what brand of LED light strips did you install? I installed the YSY from Amazon ant they work fine with my Lasfit LED switchbacks. Check out this link for the proper wires to tap. Wiring info in post #11. Keep in mind that on the XL and XLT the low beams are DRLs, not the turn signals...
Check out post #11 at the following link:

Turn signal colors are driver side=yellow, passenger side blue/white.
Good to know. I should have realized that, as I used to have a FWD Fiesta that could handle the same road to my range. The only problem with it was ground clearance. It did bottom out a few times, but never got stuck.
I'm going to bed now because I worked last night and I have to work tonight...
I did ask in my original post if someone was just messing around with Forscan. The point being that I'm not sure of any practical use an off road screen will have in a FWD vehicle. I have an AWD XL (no off road screen) so I can't really speak to that. I did add mud/ruts and snow/sand drive...
Yes, but all XL and XLT hybrid Mavericks have the 4.2" information screen, but none of the hybrids have the off road display-at least I didn't think they did. The bottom picture's information screen is correct whether it is hybrid or eco, but the top picture's instrument cluster is definitely...
Is someone just messing around with Forscan, because I believe that top picture is a hybrid instrument cluster? If not, why would it have an off road screen?
I got that error shortly after adding the cruise control to my Maverick along with a few others. At first I was a little freaked out, but after shutting down and restarting, they all went away. My best guess is that, after the battery is disconnected for a length of time, error codes pop up but...
First change was at 3k and next one at 5k and will continue to change at every 5k. I used to do my own oil changes, but at 68 years old and with bad knees, I physically can not do it anymore. My local Ford dealership's service department runs periodic specials on full synthetic changes, so I...
Put some kind of lubricant (I used WD-40) on the key and in the keyhole. I originally thought the same as you, but being a very stubborn old man, I kept trying until it finally went in and turned. Hopefully this is the case with yours. All I can say is keep trying and if all else fails, take it...
