I'm not sure if you were asking me or the other poster, the only work I've had done to my Maverick was fixing a couple of badly installed interior panels (which the dealership also did poorly) and an oil change that I did myself.
I can take more photos from other angles if anyone is would like...
Yeah I didn't think mine looked cracked, just thought it seems ineffective if these are meant to protect from fluids and debris but have a gap in them.
I generally prefer a cleaner look though I'm not opposed to a racing strip, two-tone paint, or badge when it fits in nicely. Of all the options presented I think the smaller badge on the tailgate looks nice, it's clearly visible while remaining more subtle.
The main issue I have with the option...
I have a 2024 XLT and besides the usual DIY stuff like home repairs and woodworking, I'm a solo photographer / videographer and put all my gear in the back - cameras, lenses, flashes, stands, modifiers, etc. Those rust stains are because I normally keep a couple of weight bags in the back (they...
I don't have any experience tuning a DSP but a quick search turned up this thread - https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/370-audio-upgrade-puzu-dsp-tuning.41802/
Coincidentally I was going through some boxes looking for something and found this oldie in one of them. I haven't used this in about 20 years, I've had a number of CBs over the years and even had a giant directional antenna on my roof for awhile. I also used to have a ham radio and still have...
My mobile phone (Pixel 10 Pro XL) has satellite based SOS emergency texting built in, I even got two years of the service free when I got the phone. And I'm sure more phones going forward will start offering the same feature / service as well.
I think the worst thing about this is that Ford have been having parasitic draw issues for over 10 years and multiple vehicle lines. I knew a guy who bought a new F-150 in about 2014 or 2015, I don't remember exactly how long he had it but I'm certain it was less than 18 months. In that time the...
I've been building my own computers for 20+ years with my last few systems being AMD based. So for probably the last 3 - 4 generations I couldn't tell you what Intel based motherboards and CPUs are good and which to avoid. But if you hand me all Intel based computer components I could still...
I saw an F-150 with this a few nights ago, I don't know if it was the Putco one or if there are others available but my first thought was that it looked much too bright.
I don't have any objective measurements but I remember thinking it would be better at 1/2 to 1/4 of the brightness. To some...
Yeah, marketing claims are another thing that have always been borderline dishonest but in the past decade or so seem to have gotten a lot worse. I work in a creative field and have friends in advertising, but I hate the lack of truth in advertising (and just non-consumer friendly things in...
It's not impossible for an LED to fail, but modern one's are more reliable than older ones and LEDs in general rarely are the source of failure, so it's most likely some other component(s) in the light that have failed. LED bulbs are much more complicated than incandescent, which don't (usually)...
Yeah, AI is pretty stupid. I told it to leave the truck without any tires on it but after about 8 attempts it never got it right...it actually didn't get a lot of what I told it right, but I still thought that result was funny.
