A lot of NH people in this thread. I bought my Mav (XL, 4k tow, HPR) off the lot from Grappone in Bow, NH at MSRP about a month ago. They do have an XLT on the lot at MSRP but it has pretty unusual options. They were marking up previously but the tide is starting to turn.
I got pretty lucky...
That really sucks. A Lariat ecoboost shouldn't take too long to get built at this point. If it was a hybrid or XL that would be a different story. If the dealer wasn't bending over to make it up to me, I would be taking my order elsewhere.
You're so disappointed but you gave Ford your money for it. Your wallet speaks louder than your typing on the internet. If it really mattered to you, you would have just bought a used 22 or 23 or kept what you had.
Even if you say that the real percentages were 64.01 rounded up to 65 and so on 64.01+26.01+10.01 = 100.03% and that doesn't make any sense. It should not add up over 100% and that is not counting XLT non-lux at all.
02/27 XLT lux 27%
02/12 XLT lux 29%
02/05 XLT lux 16%

1500 lbs is the total payload which includes the driver. So you can put 1500 lbs in the bed, but you can't then get in the truck and drive it. Well you can, but you're overloaded.
It's worth mentioning that it's very easy to add the bed cubby and extra tie down points to the XL. There are plenty of threads on here with the part numbers. Or if you order the bed rails that includes the extra tie down points. My XL has two bed cubbies which you can't even get on the Lariat.
If you are not going to add the luxury package or some other package like FX4, then you might as well just get an XL and upgrade the wheels yourself if you can't stand the steel wheels. Especially if you live somewhere it snows and would put snow tires on the steelies. There is very little...
Was driving down a 50 mph backroad with a full size pickup pulling a double axle trailer in front of me and 18 wheeler behind. I start hearing this sound like an industrial lawn sprinkler chh chh chh chh. There's a big field off to the left behind a row of trees and I thought it was some kind...
Look more closely, it doesn't say XLT trim level. It says XLT Luxury package and Lariat Luxury package. The XL trim level is just artificially limited by Ford, the trim levels themselves aren't really constrained like other things on the list and the excess demand is clearly for the XL so the...
Why on earth not? It wasn't in a collision that may have caused lurking issues. The transmission probably came with a bad bearing. Replace the transmission and your old transmission is going back to get rebuilt. The truck does not have bad transmission disease that is going to infect the...
Yeah, the words "pre collision assist with automatic emergency braking" is misleading - deceptive really, seems deliberately so. That will apply the brakes AFTER an accident so you are not pushed into the car in front of you or oncoming lanes. That's it.
You are just wrong. Ford is not going...
It's confusing because Ford lists it under CP360 on the website, but then says it's standard under that on the XL.

As one anecdotal data point as far as order banks still being open, I have been too busy with work during normal hours to get an order placed. At this point though, I am wondering if it's better to just wait to buy one off the lot at MSRP. The dealer I plan to order with, because they are on...
I drive a 2001 S10 with the 4.3L and it has no problem with power. It just drains its pathetic 15 gallon tank in a hurry. It's supposed to be 19 gallons but Chevy silently put 15 gallon tanks in some of them. I still get compliments about how good that body style looks but I agree that today...
Recently I saw a 2011 Ranger with around 60k miles for sale around here for $16k and it wasn't on the lot for more than a week or two. They had another one a little older and higher miles for $15k that sold quick as well. It might be worth more than you think now. At those prices I'd rather...
Alloy wheels instead of steel.
Extra tie down points, one storage cubby, and power in the bed.
Ugly orange interior accents.
I'm with you on the terrain color but I would not buy anything other than an XL as other than the tie down/bed storage stuff everything else to me is a downgrade and...
The one thing the Santa Cruz had going for it in the looks department was the earth tone color options so I am glad to see the tan color, assuming it's actually available on all trim levels. A tan truck always looks good no matter how long it's been since you washed it.

They are selling as many as they make and you can actually go out and test drive one and buy it. Ford maybe sells twice as...
If the oil is warmed up it will drain faster but just pull the plug and go do something else for 20 minutes rather than drive around for 30 minutes wasting gas to save 5 minutes of oil dripping.
