Correct if I'm wrong, but I see the 3rd key as a necessity if you want to be able to reprogram another fob after you lose one. In other words, if you want to be independent, you need to always have at least 2 programmed fobs. So, getting a 3rd fob is to back up the ability to program fobs. Yeah?
