Okay, I’m a worrier and over-thinker. I have a rival skid plate. Should I be concerned about the PTU getting too hot? .

I hope it was an update. I’m usually driving alone and I either have to hit the button or wait to drive about a mile before it goes off. I always wear a seatbelt. I wish it would detect that and turn off.

EDIT: It was my error! The part fits 2025 models! I see you have the same model as me. One of the brackets doesn't even come close to being long enough to reach the hole. Did you have to make any modifications? Here are some pics. It was a hard spot to snap photos so they aren't great...

It took longer to open the hood than to install these. They will definitely help a bit.

I watched and listened to that video frame by frame as if i were the FBI investigating the Kennedy assassination. I heard nothing.

If you are paying 50K, then the answer is clearly YES, this is the wrong time to buy.

If there was one thing I could get the world to do, it would be to get people to do their own brakes. If you can remove a tire, you can do a brake job. $50 for pads and about an hour of work as opposed to a thousand dollars an axle. Biggest rip off out there!

Another proud boomer: I took a bank check when I sold my last motorcycle. Guy was an investment banker and I checked him out online. Figured it was very unlikely he was a thief and i was correct.

I believe the rear brakes require that you put the truck in brake service mode. Besides that, replacing the pads looks routine.

I follow absolutely none of those rules.

I chose the Maxzina ones over other ones because they were a little “cushiony” and added a little extra protection.

That’s a great idea. If a local news station picked this up, they would more than likely honor it. But contact the news station near the dealer not your home. Just about every station has the guy”Mike on your side,” or something like that. They do solely pieces like this.

As much as I am sure the op is 100% truthful, I wouldn’t recommend writing bad reviews based on someone else’s experience. Just my opinion
