Hi,
Sorry for the delay. I know another user on reddit Maverick sub who had the same issue and managed to convince his dealer to replace the master brake cylinder.
For me though the problem went away just before my scheduled appointment to another dealership (el cajon ford where I bought it)...
May be there's some variation from truck to truck ? - but on my '25 tremor the brake pedal is touching one side of the opening. I test fitted it again earlier and still same results. Or it could be just my truck :D I agree that it's a good product, just somehow doesn't fit mine .
No I was sitting in traffic with the auto hold on. I think after a while the parking brake light came on. When I hit the gas it goes away and truck moved. It hasn't happened since , just curious
There's this clause in the manual regarding auto-hold that "under certain conditions, the system could apply the electric parking brake"...
I think I just experienced this today and wondering if anyone know what those "certain conditions" are referring to.
Nice, I'm a Subaru fan as well but their CVT really drove me away. Not sure about the newer Subaru CVTs but the one my outback is like driving a car with rubber band transmission. The Ford eCVT ( not chain driven) supposed to be much better but I went with the turbo.
Nice. I bought and sold AP like twice already should have hold on to it. But every time I thought I'm done with turbo cars:) . Too bad no words from Cobb on '25 support.
How do you like the tune on the Mav btw
Not a hardcover - but my '25 Tremor's MPG around town is exactly the same with the soft trifold on. The soft trifold from realtruck is really light and can be lifted 1 hand.
Mine replaced the family beater '16 Outback. For a few years during and after the pandemic I lost interest in cars. Sold my last fast'ish car ( VW GTI) in '19 and drove the outback for a few years as nothing on the market Interested me until the Maverick '25 refresh came along.
Stink or not is very subjective. Mine still has the new car smell and I picked up in January this year. When I'm parked indoors (most of the time) I leave the back window open to vent. the smell is still very strong.
My wife's X3 new car smell lasted about 2 weeks before completely...
Congrats. I ordered mine August '24 and got it Jan '25.
I've seen quite some mavericks on the lot recently when I visited local dealer. I suppose you are ordering for that exact color? Also if you don't mind, do you get discounts when ordering? Or just MSRP?
Hey OP, I used to fix my dents right away (not exactly cheap). But eventually I realized it benefits no one other than the PDR guy and the NEXT owner. It sucks for sure the first tim but I realized if I keep fixing it it's money out of my pocket which I won't get back when I sell the truck...
