  1. Can I Put Stock Tire and Rim on Where the Spare Used to be?

Hope this works for you. My stock 225/60 R18 tire. I had an extra one because of some road debris damage. Insurance bought me a new tire and rim, I paid $50 for the old one.
  2. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

This was a well written review: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/flowkottu-retractable-tonneau-cover-review.57484/ My decision to get the Flowkottu cover was based mostly on VrtualOtis' writeup. I'm far from an expert, I've just gained a little experience with mine. There is also...
  3. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

The sticker is not carbon fibre it is some kind of tough txtured vinyl that cut pretty well with a straight edge and a razor knife. Truth is seeing as how used one of them for the cover it leaves me with a spare. If you go with the Flowkottu I would send you my extra one. In retrospect if I had...
  4. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I got the sill protectors from Ford with my points: https://www.ford.com/product/door-sill-kit-by-tufskinz-gray-lettering-on-black-texture-for-ford-maverick-p2973006271 I used one of the smaller stickers for the rear door sill. Had to trim it off on the top and bottom a little to make it fit.
  5. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I didn't try to remove the lettering, it looks pretty permanent I just went with the cover-up option right off the bat. You could try to remove it but have an alternative plan like a sticker to cover up any possible damage from the removal attempt. 😜
  6. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

I installed it about the first of the year and so far I have no complaints. The retract mechanism works just fine. The instructions are pretty rough, obviously written by a non-native english speaker. I managed to figure it out. As long as you make sure the rubber seals are all flat and straight...
  7. Battle of the Best: Top *Hard* Tonneau Covers Options for the Maverick

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJLYNVTS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title I have this one and I've been very happy with it. Very little leakage, just a few drips from the carwash and no leakage from heavy rain that I could find. Solid and no noise at all. The only ting I didn't like was their big...
  8. Can I Put Stock Tire and Rim on Where the Spare Used to be?

No problem, I'm using a stock 18" rim and tire (on the right) in place of the factory "full size" spare. Fits just fine.

Thanks for the compliment but it is dead stock suspension, just a plain ol' 2024 XLT Hybrid with the BAP and LUX packages. Sorry it took me so long to notice your comment.
  11. 1 Week Review of the Flowkottu retractable tonneau cover on the 2025 Maverick

I have the Flowkottu cover also and I agree about the logo. What I did was I got the textured sill protectors from Ford using my points and covered the logo with one for the rear door sill. I think it looks much better
  12. Washed and ready for summer… Let’s see ‘em

Just washed them all. Every year on the Summer Solstice I always take a picture for the computer desktop.
  13. What have you towed with your hybrid?

Towed this to Arizona and back about 2000 miles. The bike is about 700 pounds and the trailer is 300. It did great and got better than 30 mpg. The only problem was getting whacked by some kind of road debris that cost over $4K to fix. Never saw what it was.
