Right. That's what they are for. But do they have the potential downside of trapping crud underneath them that will then become a rust problem long-term. If they do, I may rather have the scuffs than the rust.

The discussion was about getting a blank and programming a third key rather than paying a dealer to do it. That was apparently in the MyKey section of previous manuals.

Yeah mine began production 11/20 and only changed to Built "yesterday." I was wondering how long it typically is between getting Built and and getting tossed on the train to start heading north. Interesting that they went back and changed your In Production date. Mine is still the same as it was.

I think TruXedo still uses velcro based on their install videos. How is the Bak secured? Is it just these locking mechanism. Your truck does look sharp in your photo. The tonneau cover is also not shiny vinyl which I like.
