My build week was 1-3-22 per the email from Ford. Per the Ford Tracker it went into production on 1-10-22, was built as of 1-23-22 and an estimated delivery date of 2-15-22.
I ordered from Long McArthur and plan on financing through them to get the free delivery to my house. Not sure how...
Below is the left side of the the page at Ford Tracking Status for my Mav. It gives an estimated date there. However, the bar at the top of the page has TBD for Delivery
I am 931/1169. My modules updated this morning; however, the Ford tracker shows my VIN is not correct. I believe that means I am about to be updated with some new information. Maybe I will get my Mav in late February.
Received my e-mail at 12:09 Mtn Time
Build week is December 6
Area 51 XLT 2.0 Eco FWD with spray in bedliner, carpeted floor liners, trailer hitch, 400W inverter and full size spare
I live in Southern NM
Ordered July 8
Ordered through Long McArthur
I will be patient. The Santa Cruz just does nothing for me whereas I am excited to own a Maverick. I considered changing my order to dump the spray-in bed liner to get picked sooner, but I will just use the time to save up more money for a down payment.
I don't mind waiting some. I just need to get before my local dealer gets any. Sales manager told me Maverick production would not begin till mid-2022 and I want to prove him wrong by chasing him around the lot in my Maverick!
Finally able to place an order through Long McArthur. Got my confirmation from Ford almost immediately. XLT in Area 51 with the 2.0l Ecoboost and FWD. Added some stuff like floor mats, trailer hitch, full size spare and spray in bed liner
This is one of the responses I got today when I contacted my local dealer and stated I wanted my deposit back because they did not place my order:
Thomas,
You haven't heard anything because you reserved a vehicle before it was ever made.
It isn't even being produced until middle of 2022 at...
Below is the response I got when I told them I wanted my deposit back (they told me I could have it by the way) but I am confused by the response based on what I have read here. People here appear to be able to order their Mavericks, that they are doing more than just reserving. I also watched...
I went to my dealer today to order an XLT after making an appointment with a salesman. I get there and he tells me I did not reserve a vehicle. I told him I did and that is why he contacted me to come in for the appointment. We then reserved the vehicle on the Ford website and I asked if he...
The 17th is a Saturday. I am doubtful that they would make the announcement on a weekend day as opposed to a weekday. Seems like you would get more press during the work week, but I am not in marketing and have been wrong before.
I am looking to downsize from my '05 F150 4x4 and I am liking the looks of the Maverick so far. The bed looks to be good sized for my use. If it comes in at a low enough price out the door and with decent capability, I will be buying one.
