Question Terry, are you right or left handed? Don’t think it matters but just asking.

I can’t see myself ever using left foot for brake, brought up on 3,4,& 5 speed manuals, left foot clutch . Right foot brake and go pedal,

The thickness of that funnel looks very similar to the one that came with my truck! Maybe that’s the secret. The one I originally tried with was skinny and looked like the old funnels for putting tranny fluid in, in the good ole days when you could do that. 😩

Read along time ago that Fram made filters for a lot of other different ‘companies’ that were sub par, you have your own opinion that’s fine, just stating what I read researching oil filters by Fram, Purolator, Wix, Pennzoil, etc. etc., Ya, prolly before you were born tho! I know, things change...

I kinda disagree that it doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t want a Motorcraft branded Fram!

Does Ford know about this ForScan and is there proof that if you alter factory settings they will deny warranty? Seems like 89% of the fellow Mav owners on this forum have it.

Does “Ford” make their own oil filters or a different brand that stamps Motorcraft on them?

Last new vehicle I bought was a 97 Dodge Dakota 318 4x4. I sold it and bought this 24 Mav FX4. Your point is?

So all FWD, AWD Mavs are equipped with Stability control then, as they are with trac control. Good to know.

Wow, I’ve been wondering that myself as last night we just had a big dump of wet snow and today was the first time I’ve used slippery mode on the FX4. Nice!

Ok I understand now but with all these different “holds” I guess I’m just wondering which brakes are the ones being held, front or back? Not trying to start any flame wars here, I just am unsure, and since I’ve been here, 5 months, Ozarkbeard has, in my opinion, been a great wealth of useable...
