I have a 2025 Maverick XLT. This spreadsheet is not going to be the same is it??
This is the first new vehicle that we have bought NEW in over maybe 30 years & a Ford.
There are some changes I would like to do but very leery about doing because if I make the wrong move, truck is shut down.
One...
You installed the LasFit LED bulbs and you got hyperflash. My Maverick is the EcoBoost. I received my LasFit LED bulbs today and was going to install on Saturday. I had emailed LasFit and asked if the bulbs were going to work and was told yes.
I did install some 3157 red LEDs on one side(rear)...
If you decide to use the Schrader-EZ sensor you might want to do this.
Go to https://www.schradertpms.com/en/our-products/schrader-ez-sensor-familyr, go to Downloads, TPMS programming tools, Software Updates, it looks like there are four ways that the sensors can be programmed. At least that is...
Tire shop should be able to break the bead, push the bead down & remove then replace the TPMS without dismounting tire. If the tire person was taught correctly that is.
I agree on the airflow. Drivers side seem to have good airflow. That passenger side is not as strong. With the single digit temp we are having, passenger side is cooler then drivers side. We turn the heat up and the fan down and drivers side is fairly hot & passenger in now warm.
I agree on the...
The air is coming out of the vent just fine. These vents are closer to the firewall then on the Dodge Van and that is why wife could not feel the heat very well. There is a lot of hot air coming out. We just have to keep the fan higher speed & turn the heat to where she likes it.
Talked to dealer service and we checked that air was coming out where it is suppose to. We found that we have to have the temp degrees higher then what would be expected to get enough heat on passenger side. Driver roasts, so I open the window a bit.
In Gaylord this morning we had 6° & went up to 8° at noon. The dropped all day to -1° at 7:30pm. Wife went out & drove off after starting Maverick via FordPass in the warmth. -6° plus by morning I have heard. We will find out what happens in am.
Sorry but when wife's legs are cold and the picture on the screen is showing that the hot air is suppose to be going to the floor and is not, there is a problem. My thinking is that there is air coming out of the vents at each end of the dash, this is not right. When set to go to the floor, all...
Wife & I could not feel any hot air on our feet/legs as we where going down the road @ 75mph & 19°. When we get first oil change this problem will be address.
On the screen there is a picture of the air going to the floor and that is what is not happening.
Yep, when we get first oil change this problem will be address.
If your 2025 Ford Maverick isn't blowing hot air from the vents under the dash, the most likely culprits are: a faulty blend door actuator, a clogged cabin air filter (just picked up and have driven 750 miles), a malfunctioning heater core (just picked up and have driven 750 miles), a broken...
