Sounds like us, this will be our last new vehicle, unless we have an accident, for as long as we can drive. We have not had a new vehicle since 1987 I think. We leased one in 2014.
While I was going through posts here on MTC, received email telling me that our Maverick has been scheduled and is slated to begin during the week of December 2, 2024.
I know what you mean. Gaylord now has a yard for car hauling trains cars. I understand that some information is on the window sticker whenever we can get that.
I use to haul Pontiacs out of Pontiac, MI, the big Bonnyville and Catalina. I would do a short run for the week. Does anyone know, do American car-haulers go in Mexico and get loads & bring into the USofA? Or is everything put on rail & sent to a yard somewhere? Then to the dealer?
I am still waiting for mine to get scheduled. I know, or have heard, that there is less then 7,000 unit in the order bank. I am thinking, now I have a headache, that ours should be scheduled this week. Now I would like to know where to check to find out if the thing is scheduled yet.

Read a post here on MTC of a person that was having a lot of warranty problems. Warranty work refused because of owner installed items. Have you had any warranty problems that Ford did not want to do/pay for??
I think what 'Defconxzero' is doing is getting rid of the chrome on the side of the light.
It would have been better if he had put a before picture before he started.
The one on the right is in plastic, and not the right size for comparison.

We might get the Maverick in January or February. It is cold up here in Northern Michigan during those months. We will see what happens.
