Quick update, it went from Gibson Indiana a few days ago back to Burnham Illinois, then after a day or so, it went to Hegewisch Illinois. Today it left there and it just arrived at Elkhart Indiana, which is basically the 1/2 way point through the state on its way to Ohio.
Thanks for that idea. It looks like yours also went to Gibson Indiana, but then went backwards to Illinois. That’s what mine is currently doing. I thought this was very odd, but seems like I have nothing to worry about.
Cool. I didn’t know they travel through Harrisburg. I work downtown in Harrisburg and live south of there.
What major stops did your railcar make when coming from Chicago? I am just curious what path mine will take. How long did the Chicago-Harrisburg portion take in your situation?
What...
So the newest update when I just called is that it went back to Illinois. It is now sitting in Burnham, which is just east of Dolton. This is really confusing.
I have been using the Norfolk Southern number 1-800-635-5768. My Railcar number is BNSF301152. The CSX number can't ever locate it or gives me some information from January, so I know it isn't accurate. The UP line has a harder time getting my number correct, so I barely try that one.
I hope...
I am just curious because I see a lot of different information here. Will my Maverick change from BNSF to another carrier in Chigao if heading east to PA, or will I be able to track it through BNSF? I see people talking about CSX, but mine has been BNSF since Mexico and now it seems to be...
Same here. Mine has been moving all around Illinois the last few days according to the call in line, but it is now just moving all around different parts of the Chicago area. Not sure what is going on.
I heard from my dealership today that my Maverick is still at the Mexico/Us border. It has been there for 2 weeks. Not sure what is going on or what the hold up is. This doesn’t sound typical from what I have heard from others on this forum that have tracked theirs.
This exact same thing happened to my order. Est Delivery date is gone with a new Final step. Not sure what this means, but it is kind of weird.
Last update I got from my dealer last Thursday was that there is no rail car # assigned yet and it was in Nogales Mexico. It shipped 2/16 and isn't even...
Just an update, I just got a "built" email from Ford.
It was actually built 1/13 with an ETA of 2/21 and went into Micro Chip hold, ETA pushed to 5/21.
New ETA is 2nd-3rd week of March.
Hopefully the rest of you get the same email soon!
Does anyone with the Ford OEM extender have an opinion on it, good or bad?
Seems like a weird design by ford when most would prefer the more traditional version.
