I'm in Phoenix and it has been over 100 lately. I haven't had any acceleration issues in the heat. Pre cooling my car for a few minutes makes a huge difference when I go to get in as well.
35% in Phoenix is the limit for the front so that is what I did also. I decided to go dark in the back and used 5% in the rear windows. The temperature difference in the truck is significant here and I don't have to flip the mirror at night!
I bought it off of ebay for just under $50 shipped but it is also out of stock now. I got it this week and installed it in about 10 minutes.

I had another order with a different dealer that said it wouldn't be available for me until the end of May that I...
I'm not sure it will do that here in Arizona, but if it can keep up with the heat here when it is 120 degrees in about 2 months or so, I will be happy.
The person who tinted my car used Madico tints. It is 35% in the front and 5% in the back. So extremely dark in the rear. I don't have to flip my mirror at night it is that dark!
I had the temperature gauge to see the temperature difference between my back seat and front seat after tinting. 95 outside, 112 on the rear door and 125 on the front door. My daughter had me crank the AC and it said it was 17 degrees inside the vent, yes below freezing temps within the vent.
If you spray your windshield to clean it, does this happen as well? If it does, then I would definitely take it in to service as my wipers do not have this same behavior.
It actually drove really well. I went 45mph and had to add only a little bit more braking and the engine was on a little bit more. It still got an estimated 38mpg on that trip.
Yesterday I got my truck tinted with limo tint in the rear.
On Saturday I bought 25 bags of mulch and transported them home. I figure this was close to 50lbs a bag so 1250 lbs. My largest load so far.
Not necessarily. My wife's Camry Hybrid has better highway mileage than city but only by a small margin. It is the way that they program the electric vs gas engine to run and at what intervals.
An update today!!! I got my Maverick Today! The dealer, Bell Ford was great. The process took me 2 1/2 hours including trading in another vehicle. I believe that is the quickest I have ever been at a dealer from start to finish. Learning the new vehicle now. My estimated delivery date was...
You would think it would be. Mine shipped a few days ago and the dealer told me today it is currently in New Mexico at the main Train hub before heading here to Phoenix.
I feel the same way that when I go to pick up my Maverick that it goes smoothly and they don't try to mark this up. I just got the email that my Maverick has been built and is estimated to be delivered 3/4-3/10 at Bell Ford. I have the Z plan and have dealt with Bell Ford before so it should...
