After a year of waiting, ! finally got my 2023 Mav (Red XLT Hybrid Lux). Yeah!
Probably like most of you, I did not get the opportunity to road-test one before ordering.
After 48 hours, the only odd thing I noticed is the central armrest: it is about 2 inches too low and too short.

My Mav's been built for a month now.
Dealership delivery keeps getting pushed.
I don't really care about the delays (I placed my order a year ago) but this inability to stick with a delivery date is intolerable.

The Hybrid XLT Lux order I placed last summer is the first to break this streak.

There is a wide range of pickups, already on the market, that caters to these types of usage. The Maverick is, in my memory, the first one suitably tailored for (sub)urban dwellers. As a home DIY fixer, this is what I've been waiting for so very long. Until now, I've had to resort to minivans...
Ordered an hybrid XLT Lux back in August '22. Still waiting...
I have needed/wanted this kind of urban pickup for the last 10+ years. Nice of Ford to realize we're not all ranchers, farmers, off-road enthusiasts or contractors.
