I just did mine at 3k miles. I used an OEM filter with Mobil 1 oil. Mobil 1 filter is fine but I personally prefer OEM filter for no real reason haha.
Heads up, it feels like the hulk tightened the oil filter from factory. Seems to be a common issue, not sure why but I almost destroyed...
Just bought and installed this one from eBay. My clamps are metal, not plastic. Install was pretty straight forward and easy. Will test out water tightness at another time but pretty good for 350$...
It's a soft vinyl cover but it has many aluminum "ribs". So the cover is soft but the aluminum ribs make it sturdy enough that you can place things on top of it.
Mine still clicks somewhere in the hood after parked for 4 hours. Something electrical opening and closing. Not sure what. My first hybrid so I thought it was just hybrid things

My dealer said they changed my 2023 to a 2024 but I never got an email confirmation from Ford. Is it supposed to be like that? Ford chat was able to confirm it was switched though.
Every man to their own. If you want American made products, just gotta pay American made prices. Some items I'd prefer American quality but plastic items like cubbies, I wouldn't mind going a little cheap.
