I ordered my "Plain Jane" Shadow Black" on January 17-ish. Only option was the SIB liner.
Got mine on May 27th here in NJ. Complete surprise, I was resigned to waiting until Sept/Oct.
Manchester you say. I spend my weekends at my 55+ house. Been in Whiting for 16 years. Moved twice, nice area. You might see mine some day. Been to Country Garden for mulch twice so far with it.
Well I'm a DIY-er so things aren't always perfect. However if it's good for me then I save a few bucks.
Put an 1/8 inch vinyl stripe down both sides. Not bad looking for under $22.00 w/tax for the sides and tailgate (when the next roll comes in). Came up short for the tailgate by a couple feet...
Got some scratches on my tailgate from the wheelbarrow doing mulch. Got some touch up. Mine is black so no big deal. I bought a truck to use as a truck and scratches will happen.
1996 Buick Roadmaster wagon. LT 1 equipped (aka: Woody). Drove the last 8 years without air. Always working on it to make sure everything was up to snuff. No complaints. Needed something newer and less work. I already work on my 57 Chevy and 80 Firebird.
Starting to see more and more here in NJ.
One on Waterloo Rd (white) heading into Hackettstown.
One pulling onto Mt Ave in Bound Brook and one coming up 206 north in Bedminster
All within the last week
Should of taken a picture but I had a loader put a full yard of mulch in the bed. They had to come in at an angle from one corner to the other corner but it worked.
Added window vents. Black smoked vents on a black truck. Good for keeping the windows cracked to let hot air out without rain coming in. Black on black hides any sins from installation
It's bracket racing. Footbrake everyone runs off their dial in. So handicap head starts. No dragsters, but motorcycles run. My car is a street driven 12.90 car and I usually get the head start. Plenty of 10 second cars and low 9 second bicycles. It's crazy.
70 next month. Tried retiring twice. Hasn't worked so far. Next month will be 43 years for the same company. Manage hazardous waste disposal.

Still drag racing my 57 Chevy. Oh crap, sorry it's not a Ford. - Delete-Delete-Delete
Saw another one. Cactus grey at the Longhorn in Budd Lake. Drove right by my black one and didn't even blink an eye.
Added a little tailgate highlight. Not prefect but it's a truck. I don't care,
OK, enjoying the ECO-FWD good MPG
Went from this (which served me well for over 7 years) 16-18 mpg LT-1 equipped-260 hp
To this. Waited 4 months 1 week "Plain Jane" 29-30 mpg @ 250 hp this thing gets out of it own way. So far liking it(y)
