  1. After the new wears off

Post #7,743 in the memes thread says it best: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/maverick-memes-fun-diversion-while-we-wait-no-politics.1551/page-517#post-418214
  2. What's his name?

    For me it's Bean Burrito!😃
  3. Has the flipping bubble burst and hood deflector or no?

I had an Iconic Silver Maverick for almost two years before trading it in on my current Maverick. I never had as much as a scratch on any part of the hood--no deflector. I just hope my Atlas blue does as well.
  4. No More GE Appliances!

^^^This! I worked for a company called CoinMach that rented and serviced commercial Speed Queen washers and dryers for apartment complexes. I started out as a dispatcher then a collector (quarters from both washers and dryers), then as a service tech after Katrina. They were very easy to work on...
  5. Are MY23 orders done? And MY24 only being built?

I believe scheduling is done, but '23s will be built into the first part of October. Then they will be done.
  6. New '23 Maverick is Here!

Just left Autonation Ford in Panama City, FL with my new Atlas Blue FX4 XLT Maverick. It isn't home yet because I'm from Pensacola (about 140 miles) and since I didn't want to be driving at night, my son and I booked a hotel room for the night. I took a few pictures of Blueshift (my son's idea)...
  7. Hello from Florida

World Ford's service center is very good, but the sales department leaves a lot to be desired. That's why I went to AutoNation Ford in Panama City for current Maverick and the '23 Maverick I'm picking up today. Straight shooters even though the finance guys are a little sketchy (but aren't all...
  8. Hello from Florida

Welcome from a fellow Floridian! I also ordered a MY 23 Maverick in September '22. I had pretty much given up getting it this year when I got the build week e-mail in June. I'll be going to pick up it up in Panama City tomorrow. Atlas Blue FX4 with CP360. Stay patient because they are worth the...
  9. Questions about the ecoboost engine

The main problem with the 2.0, since it is direct injection, is carbon buildup on the intake valves. This will cause a loss of power. Of course the problem will usually only manifest after about 15 to 20k miles and can be remedied quickly with a service center that does walnut blasting of the...
  10. Cruise control is awesome-

I understand about not giving up 4k. My current Mav has 4K, but I've never had the need to tow more than a U-Haul trailer. I guess the old saying "Better to have and not need it than need it and not have it" applies. When I go to my gun range, (two to three times a month) I have to go real slow...
  11. Cruise control is awesome-

Doesn't the Tremor have that? I do wish it was available on standard AWD Mavericks
  12. radio issues?

I don't think that will work on an XLT. I know my XL has to update from a WIFI internet connection. The USB update only works on Lariats. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
  13. Bedrug? Anyone else heard of these bedliners or had experience with them?

It's not attached. I just put it there to show where it will go if I ever have to haul something with the tailgate open. Most of the time, that piece just sits on my carport floor. I just throw it in the back if I think I will need it.
  14. Owner’s Manual and Quick Reference Guide

How long have you had your Maverick? After about 3 months, I knew where each button was (both on steering wheel and center console) so that I could press what I needed without looking. It is much safer that way, especially while driving.
  15. Maverick Limited?

    I guess I am too!
  16. Goofing Around — Atlas Blue

OP's Maverick is Atlas Blue, not Alto Blue. My dealer made the same mistake when I ordered my '23 Mav. I requested Atlas and the order sheet said Alto. Fortunately, it was easy to correct. I may not have noticed if Alto Blue wasn't an additional cost.
  17. Ford Hermosillo Plant Shutdown

I just checked and the status of my build (scheduled 7/31 with 8/02 build day) and still says in production, not built. However, the modules are live, so it obviously is built. I think the scheduling tracker takes a few days to catch up. I will check again Monday.
  18. My patience is running thin

This is the best explanation of supply constraints that I have seen.
  19. Getting excited it is built!

Don't let your wife know you said that!
  20. Why is there carpet in the first place??

And yet some people complain that they have to push a button to turn on the cruise control, or another button 4 times to get to eco mode. I agree, some people are spoiled and just plain lazy.
