So much for having AWD for at least part of my Wisconsin winter. No interest in Job 2 trailer assists or the $300 increase.

Still in order processing. I thought for sure I'd be Job 1, now I'm not too sure. It's ok. I figure they can practice on the early builds so mine will be recall free.

Looks like 4k might be the magic key.

Fun fact: Though Chrysler has the most total recalls (39) in 2024, Ford (37) had the largest percentage of potentially recalled vehicles: 36 percent, or over 3.6 million vehicles, according to data from the NHTSA. As long as Ford's mobile service can do the fix, I'll try not to sweat yet...

I'm still optimistic. 6,000 total orders, according to Tim B's scheduling video. They can knock that many out in November. Probably won't be bumped, unless they run out of Eruption green. Then we're both screwed!

Fingers crossed for 9/19! With so few orders, and if the allocation gods are smiling, chances of getting scheduled look pretty good. A lot of folks must be waiting for the Job 2 trailer assists.

So scheduling starts 9/12, or it doesn't. Either way it's good to know.

If you want them, cancel your order and reorder in November when Job 2 ordering starts. There's a $300 increase for these, so no discount for Job 1.

I had 4 or 5 build dates, followed by a canceled VIN, a rollover, and more build dates. Tempers your enthusiasm a bit over getting scheduled. Still ordered a 2025. Scars fade.

Got my confirmation email from my 8/1 order today, 8/15. Didn't change anything. Guess it took their IT department 2 weeks to master this newfangled email thingy.

There's no credit. Job 2 has a $300 price increase for the Pro Trailer feature being added.

Apparently the early bird catches the frustration of no email. Don't worry, your delayed reward is getting scheduled first...if there's an allocation for your order, no constraints, and the deity of your choice proffers additional assistance.

Good to know. Reduces the need for a freak out at the dealership when you pick up your truck.
