Honestly there are more people who own Miatas on this forum than I expected, although I shouldn't be surprised as both the Mav and the Yata are smart purchases imo
All valid points, and things I've considered. Lol, the lot at my job looks like the surface of the moon, so I'll be able to do some off-road style driving everyday I go to work until the owner paves it, if he ever does
That redesign looks kinda nice too, ngl. In normal times, that would make the 23s cheaper too, or give the buyer better negotiating power. Watching Taco off roading videos probably isn't helping me any either, but it's such a nice truck imo
Lol, one would have a massive headache trying to figure out what products contain Chinese parts, and not buying products that are copies of other products. Also, you don't need a dealership to sell cars in America, see Tesla as an example...
Damn, got me thinking about Tacos again...went and built another one last night with the things I wanted...$12k more than the Mav I ordered. But to be fair, even though they're both trucks, the Mav I ordered is more of a city truck (hybrid, FWD, Lariat) and the Taco is more of an exploration...
Drive longer distances or harder short distances to fix that "issue". I don't think it's that big of a deal, I have the same milk on my Crown Vic's oil cap underside sometimes because I only drive 12 miles to work (one way). Just have to remember to give her the beans occasionally
Sooo....first things first: parts are available for the airbag recall, the dealer (or service department) needs to order them. If you have a Mav in your possession right now, you'll still have to wait, these parts are for Mavs stuck on dealer lots that are "sold" but can't be delivered because...
Well, that depends kinda...it'll get better mileage on surface streets, and in stop and go traffic due to the lower speeds which enable the truck to run on battery power more. If you leave your house, drive a few miles at 45, then jump on the freeway and sit in S&G traffic until your exit, then...
Probably because he was aggressive with the go pedal. Hybrids don't get fantastic mileage in the cold, on the freeway, above 60 MPH, with all the accessories on, and added weight (just my speculation)
um...I don't think 18s are using the 500 or so horsepower to move the 80k load so much as they're using the 1850 lbs of torque to do it. And doing it below 2k RPM which is kinda cool tbh...but again, I'm just a casual dummy
You probably won't find a ton of hybrids for sale in Texas, home of the country's cheapest gas. Maybe try California, or a state with higher gas prices (assuming you don't mind traveling or paying a transport fee to pick one up)
