i have been trying to find something that shows where the inverter is or looking at ford parts to see the inverter but i havent found it yet. when i get the truck maybe then it will be easier to trace it. hopefully i can find a diagram or part schematic or something in the mean time.
How difficult would it be to add a receptacle in the bed like the lux has? I am getting the Inverter in the cab but it would be nice to have one in the bed too
wondering if the inverter would have a way to come off it with some tray cable and put a weather proof receptacle in the bed cubby door
Some get the same day some a couple days. I never got one because the dealer didn’t add my email address. I called ford to confirm the order was placed, they added my email and told me I would get future emails regarding scheduling
if anyone buys the one i test drove before i put my order in...pretty sure those ten miles were in the "broke in hard" range. lets just say i found the governor
I think the possible reward out weighs the inconvenience of it not working for a day when I actually get it. I think when I get it finally I will be too busy to notice I have to wait a day for the app to kick in.
Somebody on here activated it and whoever was driving the truck in mexico activated it on that side. I am going to try if I ever get a vin. That way you can track your truck as it rides the train.
I would love an Awd hybrid tow package pipe dream likely tho.
I kinda wonder why there isn’t an FX2 hybrid already. Little beefier look…. I am sure the mpg would take a hit but it would still be great mpg. They have had FX2 packages on the F150 for a while.
Now the question is, is there enough room under the body for a small air tank so I can use the compressor to pressurize the tank and hook up some train horns.
