I was in the same boat as many here with mine going into production on 1/11 and just staying there.
I checked the pizza tracker just a few minutes ago and I'm now showing as built on 1/12.
Hopefully its the same for lots of us, and the system is finally catching up.
Checked the pizza tracker this morning and found this. I've been showing as "in production" for several weeks with what was a 1/11/23 build date for what started as an 10/29/21 order.
Based on what I've learned here it was painted in the 11th and assembled on the 12th.
Me and the pile of stuff...
I agree on principle. Everyone can choose what they want (within their budget and availability of course). I won't judge.
When we were talking about getting a small truck to replace the aging car that I'm going to be passing down to my son capabilities were certainly one thing we looked at...
I won't be doing much hauling, my Mav will be mostly a daily driver and grocery getter with the occasional run to the dump or the hardware store.
I also don't plan to do any towing, but if I did it would likely just be a small trailer with my motorcycle on it.
Thats a part of what went into...
I would stop in and visit, but then again I've been doing that off and on for the whole time mine has been on order.
I feel that a dealership is less likely to try and pull a fast one on an informed consumer.
I'm not really doing much to mine.
Already have tailgate letters, hard rollup tonneau, and all weather mats sitting in the garage. Planning on also tinting the drivers and passengers windows and adding a spray in bedliner.
One of the issues that I've heard voiced about paying over MSRP based on market conditions is that with the length of time people are waiting for their Mavericks the market is changing.
As a for instance, I ordered a hybrid lariat lux with sunroof back in the fall of 2021 and was told it would...
I've checked off and on and still don't have modules, but I'm sure they'll get there eventually. (Just like everything else Maverick, patience is a must)
A lot of good information on this thread.
My build date was yesterday, which I'm assuming means the body was painted yesterday and assembly will likely take place today.
Nothing is populated under my modules, but its first thing in the morning.
Hopefully all goes smoothly and I'll see my Mav...
This is not Maverick related, but is Ford truck related, and there are a lot of knowledgeable folks here.
My daughter has a 2015 F150 XLT with (I think) a Sync 2 system for infotainment.
I have seen full on replacement of that with a Sync 3 setup but the kits I'm seeing are $780 and up. Thats...
Good morning folks,
Welcome to Monday morning. Hope your coffee is hot and your workload is manageable.
The time is approaching for my Maverick to get built (assuming nothing changes, but things always seem to). I find myself wondering what I might do with the $210 worth of Ford points ill...
While I don't have mine yet, I do plan on cutting an access door or two in the bottom panel for doing oil changes.
What I've done in the past was to use three or four metal tabs that I install on the part I cut off that allow me to run screws into it to keep it in place between changes.
Yes, I...
Funny thing about plasi-dip. I've used it for as long as I can remember to coat the handles of tools and such.
Its always been in a can that I dipped things into.
I've never seen it in a spray on form, so I didn't even know that existed.
For the last year or so when folks have talked about...
How was your problem resolved?
I bought the same cover as a black friday deal, but still waiting for my truck (planned build date of 1/3, so Feb if all goes well).
Perhaps I should open it up and inspect for issues.
