Maybe one day an R2T would replace my wife's Tesla Model 3. But until a good charging infrastructure is there, we'll need at least one hybrid pickup in the family, so I am pretty sure I'll be keeping my 25 Maverick for a long time.
First, I placed a deposit for a Rivian R1T. But then the missus and I decided that without proper infrastructure, a fully electrical truck won't make sense, we needed a hybrid.
Then a hybrid Tacoma was announced. I placed an order. Then the official EPA rating was announced - a hybrid version...
I always park farther away, preferably where there is no other vehicles next to mine.
If that's not possible, I try parting next to newer upscale vehicles - they usually don't just swing their doors.
But I still got one maybe 8 years ago or so. So I went and did a PDR for $150 - that was better...
Ford Maverick is the only small pickup that offers both AWD and Hybrid.
I don't want an SUV, or a mid-size truck, or a wagon, or anything else. I almost bought a Tacoma, but at the last moment, Ford announced a new AWD+Hubrid Maverick, and that's what I want. Do I need it? No, but it would be...
That pretty much applies to any other vehicle or any other goods. I want a small pickup truck that is an AWD and a hybrid, because a midsize one doesn't make sense to me. Does it mean that I need one? It does to me.
I have a signed order with a Ford dealership. It has a total price that is guaranteed to me. Why would I be concerned? If Ford has to sell it to me at a loss, it's their concern (but I don't think it will come to that anyway).
Increased food prices were caused by post-COVID fed rates hike and supply chain disruptions. Since then, they have stabilized and even decreased in some areas.
"All I'm doing is saying 'I'll put 200 or 500, I don't care.' I'll put a number where they can't sell one car," he said during a Fox News interview that aired on Sunday. "I don't want them hurting our car companies."
I wouldn't believe anything that comes out of that mouth. Disclamer: this is...
I have one on order, and I am not concerned for several reasons:
* I will most likely be shipped before the guy who promised it is inaugurated.
* Even if it ships after, it will take some time for tariffs to get introduces and signed into law.
* There is a big chance tariffs will not happen at all.
In my opinion, you absolutely have to remove the excess.
Overfilling your car's engine oil can lead to a variety of issues, including:
Oil Foaming: Excess oil can be whipped into a frothy foam by the spinning crankshaft, reducing its lubricating ability and potentially leading to engine...
It has not replaced anything yet, since my Maverick is on order now, but it will be replacing a 2007 Honda Element EX. I like it, but 18 years is a good run, it's time for a new technology.
If you don't mind me asking, is that the main reason you sold your 2022 one, and not anything that you didn't like about it?
I have a 2025 Maverick Hybrid on order, too, but that's the first one for me. 🙂
First of all, very cool build.
I am very interested in the foglight kit. Do you mind answering a few questions?
1. Did you install yourself or had it installed by some professional mechanic? Was that difficult?
2. How exactly did you fit the lights - did you have to cut into plastic, or are...
