The ppf material used was STEK DYNOshield, which seems to be pretty top of the line. I just had the "full front" done (bumper, full hood, front fenders). I had them do a ceramic windshield tint (70%) and both front windows (50%) and the total was $2200. Keep in mind that this is in Cali so labor...
I didn't weigh either myself, but according to ESR the wheels come in just under 20lbs each, and according to tirerack the tires come in at 28lbs each. The wheels also have a 1750lbs load rating which was a difficult number to find for some of the other wheels I considered.
sure thing
going with around +40 with a rear spacer would probably get you a better fit, similar to JJC's setup, but I'm not a big fan of spacers myself so opted for a bit of poke instead. Went with a more aggressive offset to ensure I'd have rear inner clearance for lowering.
Just installed and I'm very pleased with the setup. A slight drop should have this fitting just right 👌

it could be helpful to specify on the product page if it fits the awd setup, fwd setup, or both. The fwd (eco and hybrid) have completely different rear suspension from the awd. Looking forward to whatever else you guys come out with 👍
I purchased my maverick last night AFTER the new rates. My dealer assured me that I was locked in with the rate from when I ordered and I got 1.9% for 60 months with absolutely no hassle and no questions asked.
I'm right there with you. My truck should have arrived on the 17th, and they've been pushing it back a couple days at a time since then. I know it's right down the street just waiting to be picked up and taken to the dealership. My ETA is today and I have no faith in it lol, good luck
I'm buying the truck as a track day hauler and picked up a new track bike a couple weeks ago with my dads truck. It's waiting for me at his place in socal about 500 miles away so my first road trip in the maverick will be using it for exactly what I bought it for.
I'm holding out for a spring set with matching shocks or a full coilover setup. My experience with other vehicles is that more than 2inch or so drop on stock shocks can start to compromise ride quality. A kit with a 3F 4R drop and matching Koni's or Bilstein would be 👌
The maverick actually uses the gen 2 ecoboost which has a twin scroll turbo, higher compression ratio, and better fueling/oiling, so it's a bit different.
The ranger tune that ford offers locks you into premium fuel, and has more aggressive tuning to take advantage of the better fuel. It...
looks so good 👌
I'm planning on putting 245/55 dw06 plus's on my 18x8.5's when they come in (and I get my truck lol). Curious how the look will differ from your 235/60's, I love how meaty they are.
Your selection of tire is going to have a much greater impact on the ride quality and handling than diameter. On equal tires there might be very very slight differences in handling/comfort between 17's and 18's but it will likely be very unnoticeable. If you move up to 20's and have a skinny...
You might be right, he said on his facebook page " As you can see in the first picture below we threw on some wheels off of one of our Focus RS’s" but maybe they had Advanti Hybris on their Focus RS 😉
