That screen is real interesting. That is 100% for sure an IBM iSeries (AS/400, IBM i, etc. They kept on renaming it.) That is what I programed on before I retired.
That system is not fancy but it is rock solid for things like processing orders and large data bases so with an appropriate...
I have not heard from my dealer or gotten the Ford email year and I did not want to bug him if he is still trying to enter a bunch of orders and having problems. I know that he has at least a few dozen orders to enter.
Also when it is working about how long does it take to enter each order...
I was just looking through the packaging guide and it looks like the XL driver and passenger seats now have lumbar supports. I don't think the 22 had those.
One way to think if it is that Ford likely needs to order parts and sign contracts for all the stuff they need to build the Mavericks a year in advance. They may estimate that they will make 100,000 2023 Mavericks (a made up number). They said 10% for the black appearance package which...
Here is the best list of differences for 2022 that I could find.

I think some people have unrealistic expectations which will cause them to be disappointed.
1) If Ford did not have the constrained parts to build your Maverik as a 22 in November then the parts will not magically appear in December so they can build it as a 23 even if you have priority.
2)...
If they become uncompetitive on price and they get too many Mavericks on dealers lots it is easy to add a rebate or financing incentive.
Don't hold your breath waiting for that.
I am sure they could build any version they have parts for and dealers would be more than happy to put them on their lots. The same goes if they have any left over capacity the last week of 2022 production.
I tried searching for this but I could not find an answer.
Does anyone know for sure if the problem with the hybrid wiring harness connection that is causing dead Mavericks has been fixed in trucks that are being made now? If so any idea when the production fix was made?
Frustrating but production does not start until late November so it functionally does not make any difference, especially if the extra time means they don't screw it up.
If it is white then that is exactly what my other car is and (knock on wood) it has not been in the shop for anything other than the free oil changes since I bought it new 18 months ago. You should really enjoy it.
I have not done it but the Forester has a limited towing capacity so if you...
I don't understand it but it sounds like the takeaway from this is that if you want a Maverick you should place a dozen orders at different dealerships with a refundable(or no) deposit then see which one comes in first. You could then cancel the orders at the other dealerships. I live in a...
Do you have anything added to it like a dash cam or wireless adapter for your cell phone? If so that could have drained the battery.
Completely discharging a car battery can damage it so it really should not be that bad in three weeks. People leave them at an airport for that long all the...
I am just guessing but it could be that the availability of transportation is a factor in selecting which trucks to schedule. If there is no space on trains available to take Mavericks to Philadelphia(or some other bottleneck) then it would make sense to build Mavericks for some other...
Thank, it is good to know that on the "is the glass half full or half empty" scale that around 79% of people will get the 22 Maverick that they ordered. You hear so much about the people that will get rolled over to 23 orders that it is easy to forget about how many people got them.
It would be real interesting to know how that compares to the number of ordered Mavericks that have actually been made or at least scheduled.
Excluding the large rental company order roughly what percent of your retail customer orders should get a 22?
Thanks for all you have done.

Be sure to read up on your states lemon law and make sure that you do everything that you need to do to document that and have the "all your i's dotted and T's crossed" so that you can use that if you need to.
You don't want to do anything by mistake which would impede your lemon law rights...
