That idea had me pretty excited, but unfortunately upon doing some research it seems like they somehow(?) handle collision detection and the automatic emergency braking in copilot 1.0 via the camera only. That seems unsafe and somewhat unreliable, but that's what the internet told me.

Longtime lurker, first time poster - not to derail the current thread, but any other watchers here hoping to similarly mod a 25 XL or XLT? I have a 25 XL on order and really want ACC with the lane centering but just can't justify almost 10k more. Hoping the process is similar to (or even easier)...
