Just got mine in last week. Really nice injection molded, the 3d printed options cant beat that. I apparently ordered the one with the red accents :(. Wonder if they sell just the rubber inserts, bonus if its in Cactus Gray.
If you were able to justify the price Ford was charging for their "factory" solution, I encourage you to look at the BlackVue cameras. I got a front/rear setup with 4k in the front and 1080p in the rear all for $200 less than Ford's solution and its a better solution spec wise.
I got one off amazon specifically made for dashcams. BlackVue does not make flash memory, they just rebrand another manufacturers card. Specifically, you want a card that is automotive rated, tolerant to high heat and extended write cycles.
You mean the LTE cellular option? Definitely not worth it to me, $150 for the modem plus the recurring monthly cost. The option is cool, but I opted to just throw a 256gb card in it instead. One thing I need to adjust is the impact sensitivity. I get a warning every time I start the truck.
