20-30lbs maybe. Not all that much, I was moving it around with one arm. At the very very most, 40lbs. I didnt notice any sort of drop in the front after I put it on. I had a tape measure on top of the drivers side tire that was just about a perfect fit from top of the tire to the wheel well...
For the steelcraft one you do. Not a fun task putting it back on with the guard installed. Definitely the least enjoyable car project I’ve done and I’ve done a ton over the years. My guess is that the instructions were from 2022 because there were some subtle differences in the 2023. The little...
I forgot to take photos during the day. These will have to work. They are holding tight around the wheel well. It’s just the double stick tape that’s failing and I attribute that to the high pressure of the car wash. Even my diamondback cover leaks from the car wash. In the photos it’s the rear...
Hard to tell really, they both seem like they are made from the same density of plastic. The AD ones just arrived in better packaging than the Mabett ones. If I have some time tomorrow I will try and get some photos. I have to remove the front pair to put the Steelcraft bumper on so I'll try and...
The Air Design ones are not bad but if you do not use the glue like they say, they will start to fall off in a few months if you go to a car wash daily. Honestly not a big deal because once they fall off, I can put them back on with the glue but just a word of caution. I also have the Mabett...
wow you actually received your items from JJC? thats crazy. I bought some pillar lights in march of last year and never received them. He doesn't reply to emails on Etsy but for some reason he seems to still post on here. @Justin.23 are you ever going to ship out order 2833191800?
$599. Supposed to be shipping in Jan but now they are saying Feb. CarID will heavily OVERCHARGE you for shipping and they are already on the verge of bankruptcy so avoid them. RealTruck is the biggest dealer for steelcraft but unfortunately you cannot order it online from them at the moment...
What sort of benefit would a nudge bar add? is this more of a decorative thing or is it sort of a "I went too far forward in a parking space and bumped the vehicle in front of me" thing and the bar protects the front of the truck? I cant really see this helping in an accident or hitting a deer...
It’s in almost new shape but I went with a diamondback cover. Ironically this leaked less than the diamondback does. $50 obo.

It appears that Steelcraft is sold out. For those of you who might be looking for that bumper, it’s possible they may not be making more. It’s not on their 90 day forecast. CarID.com has unreal shipping charges ($400 to GA) and Realtruck has zero shipping charges. But all a moot point unless...
looks exactly like what I have on my F150. Perhaps a little overkill with the maverick but considering that deer season is starting and two truck on the farm have already hit bucks this year, maybe overkill is not the worst idea to keeping the maverick safe.
ok that is good to know. I mean not thrilling for the price but still, at least it is not a flaw. I do like their new one, the switchback. Wish I would have waited for that one.
any chance your cover is not water tight? I thought my diamond back was but discovered a nasty odor in the back. there is a bunch of mold under my bed rug. Water has been leaking in from somewhere. I think I will lay in the back with a flash light at the next car wash to see if I can figure it out.
If anyone bought and wants to sell theirs, let me know. Been out of town and off the forum for a bit and missed out on the discount code but willing to buy someone’s if they are having second thoughts.
I have a F150 Powerboost that has had more recalls than months I've owned it. The ford dealership still cant get parts for the first recall 2 years ago.
It’s a ranch hand legend. I just installed one on our F150. On the f150 you remove the tow hooks, put the mounting plates in, re secure the hooks. Two bolts on each side. Then two more bolts on each side to secure the guard to the bumper. Install takes 10 minutes. Assuming the tow hooks are in...
i can handle the holes on the side but I think with the 270 I’ll need to drill into the bulkhead to put some angles to let the lock grab. I’ll need to call them tomorrow but if that’s the case, I might end up with an SE.
