Not sure what motor trends slant on the EB is for, kinda weird how reviewers like the truck king on YouTube had no issues towing a 3800lb travel trailer and even praises it for its stability even with the lack of an equalizing hitch, but somehow the EB struggles to tow a 3,000lb load on motor...

Just out of curiosity though, have you tried resetting the Bluetooth on the phone at all?

You check to see if it’s the phone? I know on my iPhone 12 pro Bluetooth gets glitchy sometimes and will outright refuse to connect to some of my Bluetooth devices sometimes

Curious to know about that too, thought maybe a car dolly would be the only way to go to haul vehicles every once in a while on the maverick, but it looks like it may be handling a full size car trailer with the car loaded up just fine

Congrats! Also almost the same as my order, only thing I missed checking off on the options sheet is the rear manual sliding window, emailed my dealer but still haven’t heard back yet, love those wheels that come with the xlt 4k tow package though

It’s that instant torque from the electric motors that makes all the difference especially at higher altitudes. Turbos still do better than NA engines at higher altitudes, but you never have to worry about the thin air with an electric motor

Not sure about delays, but I just recently ordered a 2.0 EB and dealer said I will most likely not see my maverick for around 6-8 months at minimum

Ordered mine a couple days after you on 12/4, already knew the supply constraints going into it so it was No surprise to me when the dealer stated there would be about a 6-8 month waiting time, i went for the spray in liner though so we’ll see how that effects things lol

Nothing really, I’m still on the fence about selling off my oldest car which is a 96 civic in almost mint condition with under 200k on the original engine, but my other car fills all my luxury needs, just getting to the point where I need something with a little more Utility and the maverick...

This right here is why I just optioned my maverick I just ordered with just the 4k tow package and a couple of other musts as far as the bed and interior, namely the spray in liner and all weather floor liners.

no issues with that on my end, I’ve waited on a custom order for a vehicle before and it affords me more time to build up even more of a down payment lol
