I did fill up with midgrade (89 octane) probably 3 times in the one year. Usually get the gas when the tank has 1/4 left. That does help the mpg, how much is hard to say, I tend to do it when on a road trip to increase the range, I think it pushes the range up about 40 miles on a tank.

I guess I should have searched for "flap" instead of "mud flap". Didn't try "Air Dam", maybe that would have worked. I'll be removing mine and see how i works out. Thanks

I'm contemplating cutting the front mud flap as I'm concerned it is so low that it will get damaged on even a moderately rough road. Has anyone done this? As I re-read what I wrote, I guess it does sound like complaining. I bought the maverick because it fits me better than anything else out there. If the maverick had more ground clearance I wouldn't have much more to dream about except maybe that ultimate pick up.

You don't see the tonneau cover and rails because I removed it. I traded the truck for a 2025 XLT Fx4, just needed some off road capabilities that the Lariat did not seem to have.
