For sure. I only have 2400 miles in mine, so can’t comment on when/if it will stop. Interesting that we’re both getting it hybrid & Eco. I’m trying to decide if it’s maybe a burnt coolant smell or not, but definitely kind of does smell like a match…keep us posted if you find anything out.

I have a 23’ Hybrid and get the same when the ICE is working hard for a long period of time, like up a long uphill grade. Seems to be coming from the vents and goes away after a bit. All engine perimeters normal and no warning lights…but it does stink pretty bad.

But you just disabled the rear bulb out detection though right? Seems like more of a band-aid than a real fix.

What are the ‘other’ solutions you speak of for the Lariat owners such as myself?

From what I understand, yes the Lariats have a different socket so we’re currently out of luck…

I watched the install video, but curious of real world experience’s with how hard it is to remove and reinstall the front bumper without breaking a bunch of clips etc…

My 23’ Lariat Hybrid had it come on about a week after I bought it. I just topped it off completely full and it went away and hasn’t come back.

I’m assuming your goal is you want a shorter one? Amazon has shorter ones for the Maverick for around $12-$15.

Has anyone figured out a way to stiffen up the stock rear view mirror? I use a window shade on the windshield daily, and any little tiny bump of it throws the rear view mirror way off. It seems way looser than any rear view mirror I’ve ever seen.

I’m planning on calling them as soon as they open again after the Holiday. I was just curious if anyone else had the issue and what causes it and what the dealer fix was.

Sure, I haven’t contacted a dealer about it yet. Waiting to see if it’s just a new truck smell and it will eventually go away, so thats why I reached out here to see if any others have had the issue. Don’t you need me to take it in to a dealer first to help?
