It is good that you get the oil up to full operating temp at least once a week. But I wonder if the accumulated moisture between those full op runs is a detriment to ICE longevity? I know it would bug me. How often do you give it the beans and really let her rip?

I am curious if these short trips are causing your engine oil to look like mayonnaise. You collect a lot of data, so what is your oil temperature typically after one of these 11-12 mile mostly electric trips?

The solution I wish I would have thought of initially is to have never bought the OEM splash guards. I ended up with RokBlokz after discovering mild scratching from the OEM guards. Better coverage with the RokBlokz too.

Every once in awhile I hook up my CTEK MXS 5.0 on to the underhood charging posts. Otherwise, I use it on my motorcycle 99% of the time.
