You're probably right. I read the email again and it does say after you take delivery. They will most likely ship it to you once they see in their systems you purchased the hybrid. Which will probably be delayed a few months.

Not sure where mine is and I called the dealership. Talked to a manager that would know but I think their system was down. He couldn't tell me a more accurate date of arrival. The delivery window for me starts December 17th, but could arrive before then.

After 3 emails informing me about the change to my build week. I finally got the email that my first Ford Truck, Maverick Hybrid Cyber Orange, has an estimated arrival date between December 17th and the 23rd.

That factory also builds other Ford vehicles. So that also needs to be put into your math. I think it builds at least 3 other vehicles and swaps between them. The shortages doesn't help much either. Once the supply chain normalizes it will be a little faster. Hopefully.
