I think you are confusing push button start which is a button in the car that you push that turns on the car with remote start which is activated from the key fob to start the car. Push button start does not require you to use a physical key start the car you just get in and push the start...

Mine should be here in a couple of weeks. If have the time you are free to check it out. Main draw to Lariat was the push button start. Sounds weird but none of my cars have a flippy key. Even my 2013 RX350 has push button start.
