Anyone else who got the scheduled email last week not have their status showing correctly in the order tracker? I was excited to finally be able to check up on my order status now that I have a VIN, but the status just says "Order Confirmed". Anyone else seeing this? Should I double check with...
I looked into MPGe numbers and where the heck they get them from awhile back. I think it was based on the amount of energy contained in a gallon of gasoline. It's a calculation that should mean absolutely nothing to a consumer. Two obvious problems with it:
Electric cars don't run on gas

But seriously it's the same deal with the mudflaps that are so severely constrained. It blows my mind how these parts can be readily available if you buy them yourself but they're "constrained" at the factory.
And the Mach E battery is like 70x times the size of the Maverick hybrid's. It's 75.7 kWh vs 1.1 kWh. They say that the EVs are better for the environment but for every one of those there's 70 Mavericks burning twice as much gas than if it was hybrid. Just sayin'.
How long was it from your build date to delivery to the dealership? I just got scheduled last week for my cactus gray Lariat to be built the week of 7/31!
Thought I was screwed again since I was already seeing emails were going out, but looks like it takes some time for them to all get sent.

Hmmm... maybe not my week. I checked with them yesterday around 1PM ET and Eric told me processing unscheduled clean priority code 10. Didn't check today. Maybe I'll get lucky we'll see.
Anyone know if anything about your order being previewed will show up in your primary or secondary order status if you ask for an update from customer service? Or is that something only your dealer can see?
I assume the same.
And it makes you wonder how many of the Mavericks already scheduled were really destined to become dealer stock... Maybe should have just stuck with requiring the COVP from the beginning... Woops.
Makes sense that it should be priced higher. But when they first announced the Maverick they kept on touting it as the "First truck that comes standard as a hybrid". Are they really going to charge more for the "standard" drivetrain? Or are they going to silently flip EB as being "standard"? I'm...
Hybrid Lariat Lux with 360 and assist. Trying to figure out how good/bad off I am. Other than being hybrid everything else appears to be within capacity. Maybe I have a chance?
