This whole thing is a $hit show. Where is the communication from Ford. The one thing I learned early in life (cutting lawns as a kid to make $) under promise and over deliver. I guess the communication department at Ford never cut lawns🙃
Can you imagine Ford not delivering Maverick’s and by the time they start showing up people back-out because they moved on….in addition the market being flooded with the Carvana fire-sale…lol
Yea my son just graduated college and got a great first job however he needs to commute for awhile. Looking for a mechanically sound 4 banger at a decent price has been tough.
However over the past few weeks I have seen cars listed and not selling right away.
Just reading through these posts that people are being told by customer service one thing, the dealer not having a clue (probably due to Ford) and Ford sending mystery emails is hilarious.
I haven’t called customer service because who knows what is really going on. Again I have my popcorn and...
Who is complaining about the offer. The irritation is the lack of details in their communications. "Hey order a new truck and we have a mystery surprise". As someone in the service business take my word for it....this is bad.

Per other rants Ford really screwed up with their communications.
Tim’s videos are great but how about hearing something from Ford besides “thanks for your order…stay tuned”
I am sticking around to see how this debacle unfolds. I have understood the supply chain issues and have realistic expectations regarding delays.
However the poor cryptic communications is a service issue that is within Fords control.
Maybe I missed it but do we have any clue about this “Special private offer” for the 2022 orders that are being moved to 2023?
What will it be and when will we hear from Ford?
I will be traveling during August 2 and want to get my ducks in a row with my dealer.
