GTBuzz sent me this link which gives a good idea of the rear under seat room. It looks like a long gun ought to be able to fit at least in the Ecoboost version. On my F150 I have some cable loops which prevent the rear seat from being raised when padlocks are used.

My Century canopy on my F150 has rails with sockets (?) for the Thule roof rack Hullavator towers. I'd like something like that.

My vacuum extractor does not remove all the oil from either vehicle I own. Close enough? Maybe. I'd like to see the results from using a good quality vacuum followed by a manual drain on both Maverick powerplants.

I see the spare as a temporary use item. I don't know of any manufacturer that currently uses the same nice wheels on the spare.

Just back up and find or create a spot to turn around. A short rig with AWD can sometimes use the upper bank as real estate to make a 3 point turn. That road he was on was on was not all that tight. I'm guilty of being an off road snob sometimes but that was not off roading.

I doubt it. They are useful to keep from sinking in soft spots or for looking intrepid at the mall.

Quick, someone grab a ruler and post how much vertical clearance there is between the bottom of the seat and the top of the driveline hump! Does it vary between drivetrains? Thanks.

It would be an interesting exercise. FWD with an empty bed, it might surprise some.
