I went XLT, but without the Lux package. Itās tempting - I like the power in the bed and behind the console - but wouldnāt get a lot of use out of heated seats and wheel here in the Deep South. Still, it was tempting. (Not $1850 or so tempting. But at a different price point Iād consider it.)
Iām an IT guy / computer gamer with a Ford Mustang. Currently using āPWNYCARā as my tag.
Gonna have to switch once my trade-in for my XLT takes place. Not sure what the new oneās gonna be.
No shame. One of the reasons I'm upgrading is I need a four-door for our toddler. (Didn't want a station wagon or minivan, and was able to convince the Mrs. on a nice, practical truck.) High chance I'll do something similar if the kiddo's little legs can't reach!
Heck yeah! I'm a little nervous about going full EV...would rather it be a plug-in hybrid. But with a home charger (and assuming the wife's still got her gas-powered family car for longer trips), I'd pull the trigger.
Probably 40% Practical, 40% Daily Driver (largely one and the same, IMHO), and 20% Style. Nothing too flashy, but enough to keep it from looking stock. I like parts that look like they're OEM, blending in seamlessly with what's already there.
I was jokingly calling it "Truckachu" before I actually picked it out. Woulda been perfect if this was a year for Cyber Yellow.
I ended up going Velocity Blue. Still waiting on it to arrive, but so far I've been calling it "the Blue Mini." A little more flair than simply calling it "the truck"...
I'd say that anyone buying a Maverick prolly has more in common than not. Even EB owners are interested in a small, affordable, responsible vehicle.
Now, if I ever see someone modding a Mav for rolling coal? Might change my opinion then!
Anything that prevents scratches to the cheap interior is an auto-buy for me. And this is going to be one of the areas most likely to get hit, kicked, or scuffed.
Yeah, great idea. For me, they had only just introduced the points program at the time so not a lot of knowledge about the fine print. And now, if I understand things properly, the card no longer counts towards extra points?
Yeah, they expire. I had saved the ones from my Mustang, and then some bonus points from being an essential worker during COVID, thinking itād take a few hundred off my next car purchase. Logged in to find a whopping balance of $0 on my account.
