If you sign up for the Experimental aircraft associaton ($40/year or something?) one of the benefits is you get a full unrestricted license for solid works. There is a plethora of resources online to help you learn it. Once you learn how to make the prints, nothing can stop you except the size...
Ford is a private company that is publicly traded. They can do whatever the hell they want. If you haven't had the ability to use your eyes and/or brain to see the incredible amount of material shortages globally, let alone the EPA problem, then you probably shouldn't have the ability to operate...
Consider it your first scar and memory with the truck. Not much besides pull, fill, paint and respray the liner.
Too deep, creased and paint is broken for paintless dent removal. Actual body work is needed. Cheap fix: Get a touch up paint pen from the dealer or your local auto paint shop and...
Call your dealer and ask them for an update. They can see everything and sometimes more than Ford customer service. Especially when it comes to delays and if the truck is being shipped out for work (Spray in liner, PPF, etc)
Yup, no hybrid on the Lariat. The AWD 2.0 is kinda the standard go to up here, even with the Santa Cruz, they didn't offer the FWD version, only the AWD.
So nothing scheduled for production this week (I.E. if you were scheduled for the week of the 8th, your date is now TBA/pushed back?) or nothing new is being added to the schedule system for that week, so if you're already put in for that slot, you're good? Mine's scheduled for the 13th, hasn't...
There will be a christmas shutdown, probably from the 23rd till the 3rd of January. Might be a bit less if they don't have any maintenance/line changes that can wait to play catch up. I imagine with Hybrids kicking into production though, it's going to be the full length to allow for line...
It's pretty interesting to see. I think Ford might've pulled off the 21st century "Everyman(Persons?)s" truck. Does all the truck stuff most people could actually utilize in their day to day. It'll be nice having a truck I can load up with tools comfortably and not cry at the pump.
Did you put adapters on the hubs to fit those wheels? Curious as I'm having a bit of a time finding aftermarket wheels in 5x108, not a whole lot out there as far as "truck" wheels go.
Just an FYI that tracker isn't very accurate, you're best calling ford customer support or talking to your dealer. I tried tracking mine and it shows me nothing useful, not even the build date which the dealer and the phone rep both were able to tell me.
Your mileage may vary though.
I have a similar question. Bought a dealer stock truck, called Ford customer service to get a build date, etc. Prior to the call, nothing populated in trackers, now I have a trsckable truck, but it doesn't show the scheduled dates I was told.
This whole thing is a giant fuster cluck.
