Wow, you are so lucky.
I asked that dealer days ago and got all responses similar to TdotMav commented above.
This was what answered from that dealer:

McAlpine Ford Lincoln Sales Ltd.
I bought Maverick for family use, not just for towing the boat. Otherwise should get F150 at least. I don't like Range. The design is not for family usage. The price of F150 is about 100k, much higher than Maverick.
According to the price, lower than 50k, I think Maverick is the best choice for...
Yes, now it's not quite easy to order one. Not sure why Ford doesn't open the online orders instead of via the dealers to place the orders.
It could be the same procedure as online shopping and pick up in the store.
The process is not quite transparent in Canada. But since you've gotten the VIN already, it should ok.
One concern is since last November Ford hasn't accepted new orders for Maverick, how can you get a VIN if you placed the order after Jan 2022.
Going to the mountains for fishing is not my option.

Can the Ford Maverick hybrid tow a trailer?
The standard Ford Maverick tow capacity is 2,000 pounds. However, the amount doubles to 4,000 pounds with AWD models equipped with the turbo engine and a towing package. The package also includes an improved engine cooling system...
Compared to the AWD, the hybrid tow is much less powerful.
I will have a boat (maybe less than 1000kg totally) after I get the Maverick. Should I go with AWD or hybrid?
Tony Pellici, that's very nearby my location. But I contacted that Mcalpine Ford yesterday, they told me the price is not fixed and also not sure about the timeline. It may be the end of 2022 for model of 2023.
