That would upset me if that happened. I freak out when I start it and see the tpms light on. I don't know what I would do if the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree.
I have used 87 octane since it's been a thing. Only use higher for my small engines and that's only because that comes ethanol free . I don't think I've ever seen ethanol free 87 although it may exist.
My feedback is if you are having issues and very unhappy with the vehicle, as I can tell you are, then feel safe in knowing that returning it is the right move for you and your family. Best wishes! And good luck!
Audiobooks? Hell, just read a book while you are driving. What's the worst that can happen? Other than crashing and hurting or killing someone or yourself......

I can't say for sure if it's accurate cuz I don't have a hybrid, but you went 28 miles and got 14 on electric which is about 50% and if you look at his numbers he went 50 and got about 25 which is 50%. So at least as far as that goes it makes sense.
But I am also curious as to what the answer...
I've been reading this thread and I'm slightly confused. Is this a good thing about fast charging? Is it a bad thing? Seems to be like arguing back and forth.

I didn't complain about it 3-4 years ago and I won't now. Although those that did complain about that, about a certain struggle between entities since Feb 2022 and places we invested our money moving backwards, are awfully quiet now.
They are good, but full disclosure is that my wife works at the corporate office for the owners of the dealerships. So we do get pretty good treatment. I'm not saying they don't treat others well, I just sometimes wonder if we get that extra because she works for them, you know what I mean?
I had mine done by the dealership and it's checked once a year and reapplied free of charge if necessary. If there is any rust then it's fixed free as long as I own the vehicle. They also did rust inhibitor in the doors maybe? I don't know, didn't pay much attention. But they did like 5...
