I think it would depend on the dealer. With my limited understanding, I believe that the person would have to buy the truck from the dealer and then sell it to you. If their name is not on the sales paperwork then it would go against the policy Ford is supposed to be putting in place to prevent...

I ordered the Bakflip X4s back in October it has been delayed 3 times now and should be shipped by February as of now. Not a big deal as I still haven't gotten a build date yet so maybe they will arrive at the same time.

As there was no scheduling for Veterans Day a mostly US holiday I think it is safe to assume no scheduling on Thanksgiving as well.

this video from Johnny’s car care which has been pretty good in the past. Even Tim says so. He says that all hybrids ordered before mid October are planned to be built by end of March. That means roughly having it by may at the latest if all goes according to plan.

For anyone with a hybrid order from June, July or August this video from Johnny which I find to be pretty reliable is saying that Ford will have all hybrid orders from then built by March. So no later than May delivery possibly?

I just want to get a build date at this point. I’m worried that because it’s a hybrid I could have a few months to wait.

The way ford is doing it makes you not want to work with small dealers because people ordered after me with same builds have been scheduled and I am guessing because of the allocations at my dealer I may have to wait because of the hybrid constraints.
