For the door speakers, crutchfield includes the plastic bracket to mount the speakers.

Tweeters are in stock location , under the grill. I wrapped electrical tape about 6 times around each tweeter. Fit perfectly. Not sure what you mean by plug in play. The door speakers were an exact fit and crutchfield included the correct speaker harness for them.

I am very happy with the kicker key. The sound is quite impressive.

I did not use the crossovers. After lots of research I decided not to use them . Apparently the kicker key does a good job of balancing the sound.

A small amp and good front speakers is all that's really needed. I installed a powered subwoofer but I have it turned all the way down. I think I could have left it out.

I bought the short harness. As I wanted the kicker key under the dash. It's about 2 feet long. The second part of the harness for sub behind rear seat is long. Easily reached. About 10 feet. You can also get the harness longer if you want to mount an amp elsewhere. He was very helpful...

On the passenger side. I mounted the sub to the factory mount.

I never claimed they were experts. I said I never saw anyone address the crossover on YouTube or any of the forums.

Okay. Just very confused. I see all the component speakers come with a crossover. I watched all the YouTube videos and never saw anyone install the crossover to the tweeter. I want to replace the speakers, get a 5 channel amp and add a sub woofer.

Did you need a crossover? Or just replaced speakers.

Crutchfield finally has the Maverick! New component speakers come with a tweeter and crossover. i watched all the you tube videos. If i want to replace door speaker and tweeters....how do you wire the crossover? i see you can mount it in the door. where do you attach crossover to tweeters...

Gonna keep checking Crutchfield. Seems a bit more difficult than changing deck speakers in a 75 camaro...lol
