What is this "black box" behind the driver side rear bench area then? Hard for me to see what cables are coming in/out, but I just assumed it was something to do with the audio system. Also, doesn't the B&O system already have a compact sub installed somewhere?

Thank you. Could you explain to me why you tapped into the wires so close to where the harness attaches to the radio and which speaker outputs you tapped? Without having a Mav of my own yet, in my mind, I'm thinking it would be easier to tap into the passenger rear speaker or something coming...

For the SUB install, where are you tapping for the power and audio feeds?

Where might one find these Ford/Sony speakers? did a quick search and didn't really find them to buy new anywhere. Assuming they would have to be a pull from some other Ford vehicle when somebody upgraded or from a salvage yard.

What tonneau cover is that? Seems like it fits better than others I’ve seen. Overlaps the tailgate and side rails well.

Looking forward to tracking your progress. I would like to upgrade the stock speakers as well when my maverick arrives. Coming from a GLI with the 9 speaker fender system, I can most certainly tell a difference. Good luck.
