Per the fine article, the new pick up will have a 51 kwh battery. Per energy.gov, the average cost of EV batteries in 2022 is $153 kwh. And the price is dropping like a stone. Down 89% since 2008...
They finally raised the price on the 2K stand alone hitch receiver. From $100 to $150.
Otherwise, prices are mostly identical as when I last checked XL, XLT, and Lariat on August 3rd. XL and XLT EcoBoost prices are down, because AWD is no longer mandatory for those models. (Edit: I was looking...
Sorry that you had what must have been a disappointing and frustrating day.
Two questions. What other proof of ID did the dealer demand? Why try to pass a personal check on a $40,000 purchase, when you can get a cashier’s check for a $5 fee?
I took a tape measurer to the dealer. My bike is 67” from tip to tail. I measured 69” from the back of the front seat to the rear door. But turning the front wheel makes an easier fit.
Why did you switch to the trike? Injury, or comfort?
First off, I’m keeping my ‘23 hybrid. Zero intention of getting rid of it.
I’ve grown tired of my early 2000’s beater sedan, which is a rust bucket, money pit of a second vehicle. Since I like my 2023 Maverick so much, why not buy a 2025? In one word: Price.
When I ordered my 2023 Hybrid XL in...
One more thing. Before you pull fuse 11, I would recommend that you go into the settings on the center screen and turn off telematics. That might keep data from filling any memory buffer that may exist.
Just be glad that Ford allows us to turn that crap off. Some manufactures don’t.
FYI, the app does increase creepy corporate surveillance, but even if you never installed the Ford Pass app, or paired your phone, there is still vehicle telematics. Your speed, location, braking, time of day, and...
I lock up my Maverick in my locked garage. What if someone breaks into the garage? Never make it easy for a thief.
Also, if the hypothetical thief were to be caught, it is an extra charge. Breaking and entering for the garage, criminal mischief and theft for breaking into the Maverick.
I have a ‘23 with less than 6,000 miles and it has a similar problem. Not severe pitting, but a few. One of them is exactly in my line of sight and when the sun angle is just right it glitters like a tiny costume diamond. It is very annoying.
I have not a single chip in the hood paint so I...
If the camera had been dead or intermittent, I would have suspected the connector under the truck near the spare tire. Maybe you did get a bad solenoid on the power lock. You might also want to use a small mirror and a light to look at all the connectors inside the tailgate.
I have a ‘23 XL and for me the upgrade required no extra steps. Like you, I used all official Ford parts (new harness and new power lock), not the cheaper splice into the harness method. Mine is a hybrid, but as far as I know no difference between EcoBoost and Hybrid in the tailgate.
Are you...
As HRG already noted, not much to go on when you only post make, model, and mileage.
Kelly Blue Book says in Philadelphia a 12,000 mile Ecoboost Lariat FWD with blackout and no other options has a private party value of $30,000 to $33,000. So a dealer retailer price of $34,000 is probably a...
Nice XL, and welcome to Maverick Truck Club.
About the oil change, you obviously need to wait for the next full moon, ideally when Pluto is in Aquarius. Or when the oil monitor says it is time. Whichever.
